How to update Micromax Canvas 2 A110 with Jellybean?

The most popular Micromax leap product Canvas 2 is now ready for Jellybean. After making a benchmark in android smartphones sales in India canvas 2 getting attraction of custom rom developers and they developed some awesome custom roms with Jellybean source code, which makes it more powerful and fast than stock firmware.

Now you can have power of CyanogenMod in your Micromax Canvas 2 with a custom rom as official updates is currently not available but you can install CyanogenMod based custom roms to update your phone to Jellybean.

How to install JellyDream on Canvas 2?

Requirements:

• Rooted android device.
• Custom Recovery installed on your device.

Instructions:

1. Download custom rom zip file from download links given below and paste them to your SD card where you can find it easily.
2. Create a backup of your current rom with recovery.
3. Reboot into clock work mode recovery.
4. In recovery mode select “wipe data factory reset”, “wipe cache partition”  and "dalvik cache" for a smooth performance of new custom rom.
5. Now go back to the main menu of recovery mode.
6. Select “install zip from sd card” and “choose zip from sd card”.
7. Choose “JellyDream_v1_A110.zip” and install, do not press any button until the process ends.
8. After installation go back to the main menu of recovery mode and press “reboot system now”, done.
