How to update Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 with Jelly Bean




Now update your Galaxy Note N7000 with Jelly Bean CM10 and experience fastest android version ever. Jelly Bean official update is still under progress for Galaxy Note N7000 but CyonogenMod unofficial custom rom CM 10 is build on Jelly Bean, so if you want to update Jelly Bean on your Galaxy Note you can do it with CM 10 Jelly Bean custom rom.





Requirements:

  • Rooted android device.
  • Custom Recovery installed on your device.

Visit this link to root your Galaxy Note and install custom recovery if you are not rooted your phone yet.

Instructions:

  1. Download custom rom zip file and Google apps zip file from download links given below and paste them to your SD card where you can find it easily.
  2. Create a backup of your current rom with recovery.
  3. Reboot into recovery mode, you can get into recovery mode by pressing Volume Down Key and OK button while powering on.
  4. In recovery mode select “wipe data factory reset” and “wipe cache partition” for a smooth performance of new custom rom.
  5. Now go back to the main menu of recovery mode.
  6. Select “install zip from sd card” and “choose zip from sd card”.
  7. Choose “cm-10-20120725-UNOFFICIAL-n7000.zip” and install, do not press any button until the process ends.
  8. Now install Google apps zip file in same previous manner.
  9. After installation go back to the main menu of recovery mode and press “reboot system now”, done.
Note: Rooting can void your phone warranty, do at your own risk.
